Is there another version of paint shed? I have a copy, but either I don't see how to do it or I have no way to import an object to reskin it. Can someone help with this I'd like to reskin a Freightliner truck cab that I've found.

I don't think you'll find any joy with Paintshed, it is limited to certain pieces of rolling stock and locomotives from early versions. You'll have to download, install and use a free graphics editing program such as Gimp.

If he's running TRS 2004, doesn't Paintshed come bundled with it? My version of 04 did at the very least.

Either way, there is an official link on the forum to download Paintshed on the 2004 Service Packs thread at http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=566 (it's listed on in the third post on that thread)

But as has been said, Paintshed is extremely limited by what you can reskin with it. Not to mention if you do use it to reskin items, and then upload them onto the DLS, anyone wanting to download it will also require Paintshed installed on their system for the assets to function properly in Trainz. Reskinning the 'hard' way with graphics software doesn't have this problem.

EDIT: re: Paintshed coming with TRS 04. I just checked the box and the version of TRS 04 I own is the 'Deluxe Edition', so I presume maybe only this edition included it. So disregard my original statement.
