how? I can't seem to figure it out ... can someone tell me what the keys are to do it as I want to copy some scenery from one layout to another ... cheers

have tried to do it several times but all I get is the whole area filled with snow ... and I don't want that .... in my previous posting I was asking how to do it and I still am ... maybe I'm only limited to painting the whole area in snow ... since that is what the silly game wants ... and I wish there was a step by step guide on how to do it as well ... it would certainly makes things a lot easier for us beginners ... thanks for your time

I don't think you can do an external copy and paste from one route to another only within the same route. I know, I've tried. Agree it's a bit perplexing as I've managed to swirl a good terrain texture mix in one route but no easy means of getting it into another route.

I suspect the only solution/workround is to clone the old route and save under a new name. Delete all the tiles which don't contain anything useful then merge it with your new project. Copy and paste all the texture mixes etc. then when finished delete the merged tiles again.
