? re: 2004 Trackside Mode

Question RE: 2004 - Trackside Mode,

Mine doesn't seem to work - at all. I can't seem to lay anything from it/ or if it's being layed, I can't see it.

Track laying works and track markers work fine - just the trackside mode doesn't.

Anyone else ever have this situation and/or know what might the solution be.

I'm having fun building what I consider a nice, large layout. However, currently I can't seem to place any signals.

Well, I just answered my own question and pretty much feel like a complete idiot.....Duuuh !!!

I've been happily building and placing objects on my layout for a week now and anytime I placed an object...well...there it was. I didn't realize that in trackside mode that the object has to be placed very! close to the track.

I was figuring to place the object and then move it to the track. No can do...lol..therefore I thought that it wasn't working.

It's working fine....just took this old man a while to get his head on straight.
