Just downloaded the NW pack from simulator central and when I went to open the file it says what would you like to open the file with. It takes you to the online store. I was going to get win zip but people say it doesn't work well in 8.1. What does everyone use to unzip .rar files with? Thanks in advance. Oh and what do I have to do to be able to post in any thread?

WinRAR, from rarlabs.com. I think you can use 7-Zip, but you have to be very careful where you get it from. There was a site, 7zip.com, that was redistributing it with malware, and it's probably still available from questionable sites like informer.com. If you get it, get it from 7zip.org.
Another great RAR extractor is Philipp B. Winterberg's 'Free RAR Extract Frog' which is simple, works well and has a novel interface.
