RailROAD crossing...

Great video Smash, I've never seen anything like this before.

I suppose this is a good idea, it saves building 2 bridges.

However, I cannot see this working in Britain, we have some red light runners here, and they would take the chance, and play chicken with the train, I know what my my bet would be on winning though.

This brings a whole new light to Motor-Rail...:)

Me likey. Me likey alot. I have done this on one of my routes, but never new it existed at this magnitude in real life. I have seen one where the cars share with the rails but they ran side by side on the same bridge. Never over lapping though.
 
That was great, and completely reasonable in my way of thinking!

Apparently it was reasonable to the russians too! :hehe:

(tought actually, setups like this one aren't as uncommon as you'd think, especially in Europe and Asia. Oftentimes it's easier--and cheaper--to just combine the road and rail crossings, plus anything else that might need to span the river, into one location. Whittier tunnel, like RooRocz posted, is an example of an American version of the idea)
