Railpage had a spectacular hardware failure, and has been offline for quite some time, but news has it, they're going to bring it back online (when? Gods know), and completely overhaul/redo the website.

No, it wasn't a hardware failure. There were significant issues with the hosting company which are still being resolved, from what I remember there were possibly some legal issues also. From what I recall they will have to find a new hosting company.

FailPage will be back eventually, and apparently no data has been lost.

There's a huge thread on the Whirlpool.net.au (I think I have that right) regarding this, and it dispells most of the rumours about it going down.

It would be nice to see people look for that thread on Whirlpool and not bother with any rumours.

Railpage seems to have a certain habbit of starting rumours, no matter how and or why...
