rail car for cordwood product?

Is there a rail car for cordwood product. The bulkhead flats won`t load then

there's a 'cordwood' product, small split logs for fueling woodburning engines, but i wasn't able to bring them up directly into a bulkhead flat as a test. they don't look like pulpwood chord, but they would fill the flatcar. getting them actually into the flatcar is then next fun part.

You can take the cars into Content Creator Plus, narrow down the load options and set the cars for loading. Two cars, each with one load only...name the car as such...

modify the config.txt files as thus...for logs

make sure that you add a kuid for the load if you wish the car to present loaded. If you don't, you will see an error, follow through with the prompt. These are the only modern log and pulpwood racks as of today.

aye, but they actually cut the logs to fit across the car, little rounded dots of wood showing. these log-loads for narrow gauge logging routes aren't the same.

No, they are not...I am sorry to report that the 5'6" pulpwood loads are not available for Trainz just yet.

I gave you car and load that is all you can get at this time.

i think maybe the original poster is going to have to compact the concept into just a chip-loading operation... maybe, find some rubber tire trucks with long stick logs, like they use, and prop them...? most of the operation being woodchip cars to the pulp mill?
