I know i should know this with more than a thousand posts but how do I "quote" more than once in the same new post?

Thanks.

If you want to quote multiple posts, then at the bottom right of every post, next to the "Quote" button, you will see a button with a quotation mark and a plus sign on it. On one of the posts that you want to quote, click that button, and it will become a gold color. Repeat this for the other posts that you want to quote, and then click the "Post Reply" button.

If you want to split up a single post into seperate quote boxes, so that you can comment on specific parts of that post seperately, then you will need to add the vB code quote tags into your post text yourself.

Retro.

Do you see the little icon in the middle of the three buttons on the bottom-right of every post, the one that looks like a page of text with " over it? to the right of the 'quote' button?

Well, when you click that, it turns yellow, if you click it on other posts, they turn yellow too, then when you click 'reply' at the bottom of the page, it quotes from all of the messages which you've marked with the yellow button.

If, however, you want to split up quotes from a single post, you have to do that manually, by copying the BBcode quote tags.

Like so:

There are some good vBulletin and BBcode tutorials on the net that are probably worth browsing if you want to do the more 'complicated' forum tricks. But you have to bear in mind that N3V haven't allowed us *all* of the features of vBulletin - for example, mortals can't post polls.
