QuickDrive Thread Exception Bug

I opened a layout I've been working on and found the dreaded "bug" symbol had appeared. When I clicked on it, this is what I got:

When I clicked on "More," this is what it gave me:

Can anyone interpret for me what this means and how I can fix it? Thanks!!

The one you want to check is the one relating to train.gs. The Quickdrive one is a direct result of whatever error has happened in train.gs.

Hi Shane,

So how would I do that since I have no idea what a "train.gs" means? Fortunately, I am at a stage where most of the rolling stock and locomotives are just to test the layout to date. I am assuming this has to do with one of the consists? Thanks!

Notice that in the error window one line is pink and one line is red. Both are errors, the one that is selected turns pink, the first one being the default when the window opens. If you click on the red line, it will turn pick and the other will revert to red. When you click on the more button, it tells you more about the selected (pink) error. So now you have to run it again, and when the error occurs, check out the "more" details for both errors.

The Quickdrive error is related to a corrupted or bad traincar or locomotive. I had them from some Russian cranes and it drove me crazy.

What I did was remove my consists from the route and place them one at a time. When I place a really nice looking 'Krane', I got the error.

Agreed, you need to use process of elimination.

I think what Shane was saying is you gave us the error detail window capture on the symptom error (quickdrive.gs), but we need to see the same window for the problem error (train.gs).

Yup! It turned out to be the string of center beam cars I last added. What's odd is that I removed them, the problem went away, I re-added them, and so far at least, the problem is still gone. So something must have become temporarily corrupted.

Many thanks everyone for the assistance!! :)
