I have some Assets that have a Update Available in the Status column in Content Manager It will not update. Why is that? Also I have a depot I want to use but it has a error in it that I can't get rig of, Commodity- Baggage. I found another Commodity- Baggage. how do I replace the the bad with the good? thanks funnnyfarm

My guess is those assets with updates available are built-in assets.
I had the same problem. To solve it, I right clicked on it and selected "show versions", then listed those and then added the new version to my download list.

The show versions approach recommended by Oknotsen is right on. Apparently when you try to download an update, the CMP looks for the next incremental version number of that kuid (your version number + 1). If the next version is not the latest version, it come back with that error sound. The next time you try it, the next version number will be sought (your version number +2), and so on until it increments up to the latest version number, where it will begin to download. This all assumes the DLS has this information correctly related (sometimes it doesn't). Best bet is to show asset versions and directly download the latest one by pulling it into the main list.

For the baggage commodity, do the same, show asset versions. If there is a newer one, see if the error clears. If you have the latest version, you can attempt to repair it. To use the secondary baggage commodity, you would have to modify that by adding an obsolete-table in its config file which says it replaces the other one. This may cause problems down the road if the commodities don't function the same, so the update/repair option is best.
