question regarding modding existing content

Hi all!

I have a question regarding modding existing content. What I'd like to do is change some of the seasonal stone spring/summer/fall textures. The KUIDs were all done by Trainzer2. Here's the KUIDs :

Also, before I even think of engaging in something like this, do I have to ask Trainzer2 for permission? I definatley don't want to step on toes, and I'm sure a lot of work went into those textures.

Yes, you should ask if you plan to upload the results for distribution. If you you are just doing it for your own use, then you should have no issues.

I wasn't planning on releasing them. Not with the monster route I'm in the middle of attempting to create.
