QUESTION about this Box on the game starting...

Hello,
I just noticed a new box appeared when I launch the game, saying that I have developer game settings enabled that could degrade the game's performance.
What are these settings that I need to disable to prevent this degradation?

They are in the third option on the left. In English it's "Settings Trainz". Go to that and then the last tab which is "Dev" in English. Uncheck the 4 options at the bottom. You probably should restart the game.

Amongst other actions, much of this is about writing information to the logs and that can get very busy so turning them off should make the game run faster. (edit: while the log activity may slow the game, it seems the compatability mode determines whether the warning is shown or not)

Thanks, but that's already been done and it didn't change anything. The box is still there. I've restarted, cleared the caches, and nothing works.

I got mine to go away by also changing the compatibility mode back to Maximise Compatibility. I think that is the default.

I usually have all the dev stuff turned on because of what I do in Trainz and don't really notice the warning.

Hmmm! I turned on all those checkboxes and left the compatability mode as Maximise Compatability and the warning didn't show. That means what I said earlier was not true. Sorry about that. It appears that only the compatability mode choise affects that warning.
