Question about speed trees

Hi,

There might be the possibility that my question has already been discussed in some other thread.

The movements some of these trees are making correspond to wind thrength of 5 to 7 on the Beaufort scale (strong breezes to moderate gales) which is rare ashore. The looks of the trees and landscapes created using those trees are spoiled by the unrealistic movements. Is there any way for the user, to reduce the degree of those movements or stop them altogether?

In surveyor, main menu, environment, I think the bottom option there is a wind strength dial.

Unfortunately, I think that water tends to look more realistic with a bit of a wind blowing, so it's a compromise.

Hi Konni,

Try the trees by McGuirrel and Pofig. These trees don't have the blowing issue that the default trees have.
