Question about SAFETRAN lights

Hello and thanks in advance for any help.
I'm building a "as-close-to-protoypical" CSX line and I use Bing maps http://www.bing.com/maps/ (Which BTW, using their birds eye view I think shows more clear detail than Google maps in certain areas). Anyhow, I noticed that certain SAFETRAN lights are "bidirectional", meaning they use one post with lights pointing in each direction. Is there a way to replicate this using JR's SAFETRAN lights? I thought about using 1 light and then adding the gantry light but the height is predetermined and not movable. What I'm doing right now is putting two lights back to back, functional but not "prototypical" (see picture below.) Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Miguel

You might have problems running AI's putting 2 06's back to back like that on a single track, they'll be nose to nose facing opposite directions.
Better off signalling the entry to the single line at each end then it's first come first through.

Thanks for the reply. I never thought about what you said about the nose to nose.
So, prototypically how can they do that (I figure their computers are a littlle bit better than mine. :D) and can it be done in TZ2010 to remain prototypical on the location of the signals.

it is likely that if they are like that in real life they are intermediate types. can you show an image of the location you are trying to reproduce?

Ok, here are two pictures. One is a "close up" from Bing maps and the second one is satellite view of the area. The "1" marks the location but on the wrong side of the curve. The "close up" shows the light, but on closer observation it looks like possibly a 6 on the southbound and maybe a 5 (single light) on the north bound side of the post?

it does look like a double 06 intermediate (with the number plate) and a 05 the other way. this is possible to create using the 05 heads that will mount on the rear of the other mast.

Are these available through JR? I thought I had downloaded all available SAFETRAN lights, and I cannot find the intermediate 06 or the mountable 05?
Thanks,
Miguel

If you download GrahamSea's signals

( from here:
https://sites.google.com/site/grahamseatrainz/downloads )

You could make the signals "appear" like in the photo above
as they have seperate posts so it is possible to place a left sided one in one direction
and a right sided one in the other direction with one signal post thus making it "look" like the prototype signal

also it allows for different types of signals in each direction

OK, here is the attempt to use grahamseatrainz lights. I actually used JR's SAFETRAN mast and placed the other lights on it. I had a heck of a time trying to put the lights on the mast because, and I don't know if it was just me, you had to be directly in front / behind the light to be able to move them. Could not seem to be able to "grab them" from the side. I'll run a couple of test AI runs to see how it works.

- press <Ctrl> button whyle moving an object for more presice placement

also the background of this photo is of a route I am working on (I placed the 3 items pressed PrtScn then deleted the 3 items as I am not ready to place signals yet
because of two reasons - 1: I am not done laying track, 2: I am waiting for grahamsea to get around to making 4 meter versions of his signals [4 meters from track center]
as the track in my route is on 10 meter centers and the signals as shown below are too close to the track)

- Oh and beeing ABOVE the signals (looking down on them) makes it the easiest to move them
