I purchased the UPpack devleoped by Jointed Rail from the simulator central store on 10/5 I was able to download the file to my computer, found the CDPs associated with the download, and imported them into CMP I am supposed to have the EMD SD70ACe, the GE ES44 (c45accte) and the GE C30-1 The problem I am having is that I cannot find any of them. They don't seem to come up while doing a search in the CMP and try as I might when I have surveyor open I cannot find them. Can anyone tell what to do so that I can use what was purchased? Thank You:)

Have you used the search function by Date Installed using the date you imported them? It should show then, but if it doesnt that probably means something didnt import right.

You may also be missing some dependencies as well, which you can grab from our sites dependencies section.

I am not a user of TS12 but haven't other users exerienced this sort of thing which was as a result of the favourites filter being on?

Could be that..but id check and make sure its even showing in Content Manager first. He said they dont show in CMP, ive never seen that happen due to a in game fav. filter.

If it isnt a filters issue then perhaps they are still open for edit in Content Manager? Check the 'Open for edit' tab and commit them if they are there

I looked under favorite locos and I found the following----all with warnings
UP C30-7 Author: norfolksouthern: Warning: This asset uses an obsolete trainz-build number. Trainz-build numbers below 2.7 are no longer supported.

Warning: Required container 'thumbnails' is missing. Warning: An asset must be specified for tag 'texture-kuid'. Warning: An asset must be specified for tag 'texture-kuid'. Warning: An asset must be specified for tag 'texture-kuid'. Warning: An asset must be specified for tag 'texture-kuid'.

UP ES44AC Author: The Rock: Warning: This asset uses an obsolete trainz-build number. Trainz-build numbers below 2.7 are no longersupported. Warning: Required container 'thumbnails' is missing.

UP SD70Ace Author: norfoldsouthern: Warning: This asset uses an obsolete trainz-build number. Trainz-build numbers below 2.7 are no longer supported. Warning: Required container 'thumbnails' is missing.
ES44DC Engine Author: norfolksouthern: Warning: Required tag 'full-throttle-speed' was missing and has been set to default. Warning: Required tag 'throttle-notches' was missing and has been set to default. Warning: Required container 'thumbnails' is missing.

None of those warnings are critical issues that would prevent it from functioning correctly. Have you right clicked on the file and selected view dependencies and made sure there are none there with a ? sign next to it? That would mean a missing dependency and i would think would be the only thing preventing them from working, unless of course they are Open for Edit which you should check by selecting the open for edit tab. If they are, commit them by right clicking, go to edit, then commit.

I also went back into surveyor and found everything that the pack was supposed to contain. They look pretty nice---all with the ARN numbering system. whether they work or not I am not sure. I am able to put them on a track

Im sort of confused. Your able to put them on the track in surveyor but you cant find them? I'm not sure I follow right now...

Earlier today I went into surveyor but could not find anything so that Is why I said earlier I couldn't find them but just after I posted I decided to go back into surveyor and then, I swear they were not there before, there they were. I experimented with putting them on a track...They look so flawless I did not try to drive any of them. What I don't understand now is why they were so tricky to find in the CMP. Are those loco's files, I found in CMP, developed by you. And why do I get so many warnings. You said it is easy to manufacture these thumbnails. More than that once you have the thumbnails made how to place them so that the error goes away?

Unless your getting a red ! point the errors will not cause any harm at all. The reason these bits come up is that our assets are made for TS2009 SP4 all the way to Trainz 2012 so the assets are looked at differently in each versions Content Manager. This makes sure that one file will serve all of those versions without issue. They really shouldnt be tricky at all to find in Content Manager, simply search for the name and you should be all set.
