Has anyone ever attempted doing a route of the Pueblo CO Transportaion Test Center ? I think I'll try my hand at it, and post some trackplans.

Pueblo Transportation Test Center: This place has a huge, complete full scale model railroad type layout, with high speed test tracks, load testing tracks, and hazmat crash responce training

Should Train Surfers be Spayed ... or Sprayed ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBEI9dNu1oI&feature=related

I saw a video once of a brakeman standing on the pilot boards on a diesel switcher. It had been targeted by these so called "surfers" as proof that the railroads want to stop them so that they can have all the fun.

As a Brakeman at the Colorado Railroad Museum, I can assure you that standing on the grab irons of a 120 year old wooden car that see's little more then cosmetic care, its not fun. Now think about riding the 120 year old wooden car, down a 4% grade, without working brakes, and a jerry rigged link and pin coupler made out of steel Rebar. The single scariest train ride I have ever had, nearly knock me off as we hit the brakes going back up the hill

And even on our well maintained cars, like passenger cars, cabooses in regular service, and such, a simple jerk by the engineer, too much independent brake either taking out or causing slack, even standing on a normal passenger car or caboose end can be scary. I can't imagine doing it at 100+ MPH......its stupid and unsafe
