Protolars and AI

Guys I'm new to Trans as it is let alone Protolars..

I had a problem to solve and someone came up with the answer that protolars would do the job.

So I made a test route of a circle a protolars and a train set the containers up using the guide I was linked to ...

and then drove the train over the protlars stopped and bing bammm it worked the container wagons started filling I then set it up so it would fill 20' and 40' boxes... test again yep all goood

so I put this into my route and set it up the same....

made a train in the portal.. told it what to do... and yep it does everything ...


barrrr



load or unload...


so back to the test route...


test again all good...


so my son says hey why not try the portal train in the test route... OK lets do that after what seemed like hours I have come to conclusion that protolars does not work with AI trains as it does with player controlled trains...

Generating the train from a portal shouldn't make any difference. Did your portal generated consist have the same traincars as you used in the manual setup? How about some more details of what you did?

Is the train leaving the portal loaded - pretty hard to load a train already loaded
