Products list gone missing

Hi

For some reason my product list has gone missing in my trs2009. although the window comes up, there is nothing in it. So I am unable to add or change a wagon product.

Any solution would be greatfully recieved.

If for some reason a paticular file has gone missing that is causing this, I do have access to another source, but I have not got a clue which file I should be looking for.
 
Use your CM and look for rusty rebar 40 ft, there should be another one similar. Delete them.
 
In most cases you have a fault product installed, preventing the list showing up. It may take a while to track it down, but finding and deleting it should fix the problem.

If deleting faulty products does NOT solve the problem, then do a database repair afterwards. That may help.
 
I'm suprised there. Have you tried deleting all non-builtin commodities from Content Manager then re-installing them one at a time until you find the culprit?

I had this problem too and was getting a industry.gs error message....
scanned through industries foun d it to be a coal unloading facility cant recall kuid but removed it from route and everything back to normal......
 
I shall try that and see what happens; thank you for your suggestion :)

I just Tried this and only have built in commodities; I am still having the problem. Not quite sure where the problem is coming from anymore.

I know this is an old thread, but I have the same problem.

I have deleted all downloaded products, all faulty industries, made a quick database repair, to no avail.

In all my sessions in TS12(not patched) I get the red bug on the right side with the following message:

Title: Vehicle:Thread Exception: ER_Exception, line 2268, file vehicle.gs (1)
Vehicle: Thread Exception: ER_Exception, line 2268, file vehicle.gs(1)
Vehicle: ProductFilter.DoesAcceptProduct> Null product (file productfilter.gs) (1)


The patched version of TS12 on the other harddrive (and with less content) is ok.

Any help is very appreciated

This thread has two different problems, the first was faulty products causing the product window to be blank. The second is an industry asset missing a product. The red bug could be your asset is trying to load a product that you don't have installed. Not all products get downloaded with the asset and you may have to search for them. Check that the products are all pre SP1.

Deleting all not built-in products didn't change the situation. The products list was still missing.
There is no product installed showing version 3.7.
 
Your problem and the error you show is related to some rolling stock looking for a product that you don't have installed rather than a faulty product.
