Problems with TS2009?

Running TS2009... recently installed patches to "fix" whatever issues 2009 had (I had none). Since then Surveyor loads properly, but I can no longer use the Driver. The program freezes and not responsive. Is anyone else having the problem? If so... does anyone know how to fix this? I have too many hours invested to reload the program.

First question - how did you manage to install the patches if you do not have TS2009 registered?

Second question - did TrainzDiag report any problems? (TrainzDiag is in the bin subfolder of the Trainz installation folder.

Also note, that if you are running Windows Vista/7, you must run Trainz as administrator.

I thought I did register TS2009 ??? How would I know if I didn't? No reports of any problems. Fairly new to this, so I am muddling my way through.

Next to your name in forum posts, you should see a bar - TS2009 will appear as a circle/dot on that bar if it is registered. As I cannot see either the bar (version roadmap) or the dot with TS2009 above, I'm guessing that you have either got different accounts for the forums and for the actual game, or you have not registered your serial number.

If you have installed SP4 (which will make the build number 44653) the problem involving Driver is likely to be related to TrainzUtil (one of the background processes) - make sure there are no items open for edit in Content Manager (you can check this by using the Open for Edit tab in Content Manager - if there are any listed, use Ctrl and A to select them all then press Ctrl and M to commit them)

Thank you. Yes... both TRS2006 & TS2009 are registered under a different name.
