Problems After Upgrading from SP2 to SP3 on 2010EE

I am encountering lockups in surveyor, problems saving changes, invisable assets, jumpiness, etc since installing SP3 on 2010EE. Everthing was fine before the upgrade. Is there an easy way to get back to SP2?

There's a workaround to the Surveyor lock-up, see the TS2010 forum. As for the rest, SP3 is looking to be a huge bugfest. Unless you have a backup copy of your installation, I think your best bet is to save your userdata folder somewhere, reinstall TS2010, and re-import content.

FYI, I think the last newsletter of Trainz Community News has details as to how to back up properly.

Personally, I've done backups and still seemed to have lost content, so tread carefully.
 
Did you run an extended database repair after installing the patch?

This is necessary in order to use the program after the service pack is applied.

Also go into Surveyor after installing the SP view faulty assets, select any items in the list, and then choose view errors, many of the errors in the content will disappear. Any errors left will be actual errors in the content.

After doing this, I've had very few problems with SP3.
