Problem with patch program in 09 sp1

Hello All
New to using forum. Hope this message is in the correct area.
In trainz 09 I have installed sp1. On starting 09 again I was told a new patch was ready. After downloading patch I ran patcher program. It tells me unable to extract archive and aborts. The green progress bar stalls at around 50 %.
I am running vista 64, 4 gig ram quad cpu, nvidia 9500 something vid card.
Any Ideas. Oh yeah it was a fresh install of vista, no anti virus or fire wall installed yet

If that one doesn't help lok for problems with Vista. I don't run Vista my self but I hope these links help.

Just want to say thanks for the help. I am not to bright sometimes when this new computer gives me problems. I just could not find the page that you gave me the link to.
