Problem with lettering in Trainz settings window?

I wonder if anyone can lead me to the settings to have the lettering show up better in the trainz setting window. For some reason my instructions in this window are showing up very light and they are hard to read. I must have changed a setting some how and now I don't know what to do to correct the problem:confused: I have the problem in the window showing operating instructions for any sessions. My computer is running ok and my graphics are ok in surveyor or driver. I only have the problem with the session instructions.

I'm running 2010 with the latest patch.

Thanks to All.

Hi activerail

I just recently started with this problem I hope someone can help us out with some instructions.
I'm sure there is a solution.
Just be patient.

Are you using DirectX or OpenGL. I have that problem if I set it to use DirectX. Therefore, I stick with OpenGL.

I've found the same thing. Text quality depends on if Directx or OpenGL is used.Suppose it depends on you CPU / Graphics setup

I think I'm using direct x because I have aN ATI video card.
I'll try changing it and see what happens and let you guys know.

Thanks,

Bingo

That's It.
I changed to open gl now the printing is great, I can see again:)

The downside to this is my wires on the telephone poles now look like fire hoses. Oh well can't have everything.

Thanks guys.

My fix for this

This has happened to me a couple of times now. I fixed it both times by replacing the trainz.cfg file with one from my backup copy of Trainz. You don't have to use OpenGL.

Thanks Ianwoodmore

That solved my problem now I am using directX and everything is now working as it should. I figured someone on this forum would have the answer to the problem. Many very intelligent people are on this forum.
Thanks to all of you guys and girls.

Bob:)
