Problem with a train

Well i tried to make a session with more trains and there is a problem.When the train starts to go to the trackmark ,opens the doors on the left because the doors are like a pantograph and the driver automaticaly want to lift up the pantograph.what can i do to make the driver drive to a trackmark without lifting up the pantograph?

Hey dude... I am sorry for the users above this post... It appears that they need to improve their people skills. Things haven't been the same since TRS2006... Things have got a lot colder since those days.

I swear people asking simple questions get the cold sholder because they haven't registered a single version of trainz... What has happened to these forums? Where's the love?

On the trainz download station, look up "Set Pantograph State". or these kuids:

• KUID2: 147570:80002:1
• KUID: 178892:80004
• KUID: 151055:100122

Unfortunitely, you do have to have a registered version of trainz.... But I guess I could send you the .CDP if you really want them.


I swear... The community was so much better back in the old days...

There is a good reason why we ask for the version to be registered. Content cannot be downloaded to unregistered versions, nor can patches be applied. It's like running Microsoft Office without a license key. I've also seen people with illegal versions on these forums, and the forum community as well as N3V are keen to stamp that out.

I don't care if I get kicked or banned... This is NOT how we should treat guests on our forums whether we like it or not.

I have had a major ass kicking from the trainz community before... I WASTED 6 YEARS on the trainz franchise... Each addition having very little improvment upon the previous... its rather outdated graphics...

All I asked was a simple endless gameplay... But apparently trainz's limitations got too much for it and the whole idea colapsed rather spectacually...

Over that, I wasn't allowed compensation for my time and effort, and I was denied to spend my efforts upload my creation onto the DLS itsself...

I have generally lost all respect for trainz, its community and the franchise.

I aim to please users that have the courage to ask on these forums and get blown back down by you. If that's against the COC then so be it, I don't care.

I have been admin for a server for a year and I know how to treat people... Obviously you care more about auran getting money then user's enjoyment... You people have got very hostile in the trainz's age.

I swear, if you carry on, people will stop buying trainz and the entire thing will die...

If you don't see what I'm doing, I'm risking my entire account for a single user's enjoyment... Not taking into account any money or anything. I just simpally do not care anymore... The hostile attitude of this entire forum has just forced me to just... Leave.

I think really, being autistic and knowing how hard it is can be to socialise, but I personally think you need to look at your post again, because the attutide its not always a problem on the forum, its more with how you present yourself to other forum users, with the messages that you post. If you are the sort of person that shows no patience (that means not posting every hour asking for help), start on other members of the community, do nothing but demand from others or just being a general rear end, then you are asking for trouble.

If you just present yourself as a helpful, understanding and sympathetic individual, then obviously, you get more respect, its the same if you contribute assets, you tend to get a lot more respect from other members (and since I made a lot of assets that are mostly MUs, I tend to get a lot of respect.), but it also opens you out for abuse. What I think you should do in my personal opinion, is look at other posts, see how they convey themselves and present themselves to others, not just anyone, but someone that is trusted, like Euphod (Sorry, its an example) and then you might be able to learn some of the rules you need to think about. I had to learn them and it was a lot of effort.

Also, if you worked on a product for years and someone refuses to regiester their copy of your program, yet you are trying to simply make a living, them someone nicks the copy from the net, uses a key that someone else has or uses other programs to combat the security built into the program to stop that and then they come to you and asks you for help when they haven't paid out anyhting, wouldn't you be unhappy about the situation? If you accuse them, yes, it causes problems, I know, thats not the aim. Asking someone to go through the simple process of regiestering their copy is to protect themselves, which also allows the user to get a better experience, they can then go on the DLS. Is that not much to ask for?

Yeah, i totally agree with you, but I do not feel that that is the correct approach that the suers should take. I feel it's bad for the image of trainz.

I would like you to try a much more warmer approach as a community... To make the user feel a it more welcome on the forums, rather then just giving a cold sholder.

Sure, encourage software piracy, why not. Upload everything you got to a warez torrent, then they won't need to register anything to download whatever they want.

Other productS, plural, and it wouldn't help because people from vastly different backgrounds also use those trainsims, and the ones who graduated from Pleasantly Polite High School in Sleepytown Ohio are always shocked to discover that there are people who don't have the same standards, and never knew places like Gangster Vocational High School even existed.

I notice the original poster hasn't come back, with a legal copy it takes 10 minutes to register the serial number - assuming he has a legal copy OH HOW SHOCKING TO SAY SUCH A THING!

I've been around these forums about as long as anybody, and help has NEVER been extended to folks without registered copies, and long may it remain so.

The forum has always been welcoming and "You may not receive much help until you register a version of Trainz" is a consise and exact statement of the OP's situation. When that is seen as too 'politically incorrect' to be tollerated in our warm fuzzy world - then God help us all.

Guys, time to calm down...

Shaine and Ed are definitely going about things the right way (ok, they could make it sound nicer, but then they are simply people using their own spare time), as until they register they will not be able to access the download station. As such, any further assistance will, effectively, be for naught, as they will not have access to extra content anyway.

OTOH, once they're registered their copy of Trainz, those who know the answer to the question itself will be able to answer it easily, as they'll then be able to access the DLS to obtain the item.

Unfortunitely, you do have to have a registered version of trainz.... But I guess I could send you the .CDP if you really want them.

As a note, this is piracy (of the asset itself, unless you had prior permission to re-distribute it), and is also supporting piracy of Trainz... Either way, this can fall under COC #9. In this case, we will let you off with a warning to keep this in mind.

Wow... that's the single most smartest thing said in this entire thread... Appart from Wessex_Electric_Nutter's post since my first post on this thread.

People say "oh you shouldn't send this guy a .CDP because I would be encouraging piracy and it conflicts with the COC...". Please can you give me other reasons why I shouldn't?

The reason I ask for other reasons because I said in my last few posts that I don't care about the COC, and I go by my beliefs.

May I remind you that the DLS is a FREE place to download content.. A place that should be a place where content is distriputed freely around the web. It's not really a good, fast way to download it, when you're constantly being overtaken by people paying for faster download speed and restricted to a maximum of 100mb to download? Which makes downloading anything which is over 100mbs impossible (I can name a few).

So if it really fair to say that the DLS is really "free" where people can freely distribute their content? Or is the DLS meerly a tool for auran to gain more revenue through the use of first class tickets?

That's what I'm doing, I am helping to distribute content to the less fortunite individuals using this forum. People who get shuned by the lack of acceptability of the main stream.

It is not your job to shun people who have not registered their version of trainz... It's the job for auran themselves to disallow people registering their version of trainz onto their system. By the use of their serial detection system.

It's like you're treating people like monsters if they don't register their version of trainz and not as actual people who have real feelings.

If you're going to treat people as monsters, the trainz series would do better without you, simpally because it paints a particually bad image of the community in general... How would you feel like it if you joined the forums and got bombarded by unwelcoming messages? I know I wouldn't like it... That's why I left.. The only reason I am here is to make a point.

I'm not going to argue about this, but you do need to learn the basics of copyright law. Sending content that does not belong to you without the creator's permission is breaching their copyright, and hence breaking the law.

As for the Code of Conduct, you basically agreed to abide by it by creating a Planet Auran account and by using the forums.

We do not treat people like monsters (well I don't anyway) - unless people register their version, there is no way of knowing whether their version is pirated or not (pirated versions actually cost N3V in lost revenue)

I normally provide people with the necessary link to register their version, so they can prove that they are not using a pirate version.

The Download Station is free as in there is no charge for supported versions. It is not free as in freedom to share assets that are not yours without the express consent of the creator.
