Problem unloading Passengers at Stations

Hi all,

I am just starting to set up my route which rose from the ashes of TS09 and am finding that all my passenger trains are stopping in the front few yards of every platform. It does not seem to matter who built the station, I have a mix of S&C and Auran platforms, they all seem to have the same affliction, make the passengers walk.

Is this a TS12 thing? I have looked and cannot find any reason for it and I do not want to put TMs all over the track at each station, except as a last resort. Anyone heard of this before, any answer to it?

Regards,

Dave

Hi Dave,

Do you have a LOAD command after the drive to command? The sequence of commands should be drive to or navigate to station xxx, load, drive to next destination. You can use either the drive to or the navigate to commands but must have a load command following.

Bill,

Thanks for the reply, yes I have all the correct commands in there, that is why I am puzzled. It worked OK before I moved it to TS12.

Dave

Hi Blackie,

Ok. If you have all the right commands and they worked in the previous version you were using it might be the stations themselves. There is a known problem with some stations that use the generic passenger load script. In this case replace your stations with either the latest version of bloodnock's stations or the latest version of AJS invisible stations. Both of these have invisible platforms so you will have to lay a platform and a station building to make them look like a proper station. Make sure you connect the track to the station track, don't connect the station track to existing track.

Thanks Bill for your suggestions, unfortunately I have come to all the same conclusions as you before I asked on the forum, I did not want to have to replace them all. Again, I thank you for your help, but I have gone back to the trackmark idea and it works. There is no need to pursue this further I am satisfied with what I have had to do, thanks again,

Dave
