Problem Starting TS2019-Full Screen

When I start TS2019 it always begins in full screen mode and there is no obvious way to change to managed screen size.That was true until I just started to try anything, ignoring logic. What I found was, while in full screen, on the opening screens, the top left 3 horizontal line symbol allowed starting the Launcher. Clicking that restored full control of screen size. No problems from this technique. I would guess that a full re-install would be a final cure. Too dangerous to consider.

The screen mode (i.e. full screen or not full screen as well as screen resolution and refresh settings) are controlled from the Trainz Launcher --> Trainz Settings.

In the General tab untick the Full Screen box to give you the Windows menu at the top of the Trainz program and (if applicable) the Windows task bar at the bottom of the screen.

You may also set the screen resolution (horizontal pixels x vertical pixels) and the screen refresh frequency (Hz) - these will vary according to your particular video screen characteristics and can only be set when the check box is ticked ON. You can set them and then check the box OFF. You can also select the Vertical sync setting (again according to your particular video screen characteristics).

These settings will be remembered each time you start Trainz.

It was the GENERAL Full Screen tab. I really do not recall deliberately setting that. But, may have ticked it, was distracted and forgot.
