1 st question, get the deps up on screen, run the mouse over the screen while holding down the left mouse thing, top left to bottom right. R/click select print or save to file.
I hope that makes sense.

When doing this, make sure you select/copy the information from the View Dependencies box, not the main list (unknown KUIDs will not show up in the main list normally)

Also, in the View Dependencies box, you only get the option to Copy.

EDIT: Turn off 'hardware acclerated compression' in Content Manager settings (TS2009/10), then open for edit/recommit, to clear the black items problem (sounds like you have a Nvidia GTS400 series card, or one in the 400 range)

OK - this is what you will need to do:

1.Go into Content Manager Settings.
2.Click the Miscellaneous tab. (It may be called something slightly different)
3.Click in the box labelled 'enable hardware accelerated texture compression' to remove the tick.
4.Click OK.
5.Open the affected assets for edit, then re-commit them.
