Posting Pictures on the Forum

1.) Use a quality hosting site for your pictures, https://imgbb.com/, https://www.flickr.com/, https://postlmg.cc/, https://imgur.com/

2.) Any of the image hosting websites will have their own proprietary sharing link system. Find a link that reduces the url down to a link with an image file extension. .jpeg, .png etc. That is called the DIRECT link. Post that link using the insert image (ctrl+p) function at the top of a new post entry

Examples using imgbb

I.e. this link shows a pic, but with a border, and is only a link, an image does not show up on this thread entry https://ibb.co/LPTG333
I.e. this link, same image, https://ibb.co/album/VgjzTJ shows a larger image, black border. After pasting into the this thread you get a small icon image and a brief text description.
I.e. This link, same image, shows the full image after right-clicking and choosing show image in new tab. You get an url with the .png file extension, so you know you have the DIRECT image link.
https://i.ibb.co/59Q7PPP/image.png. Paste that link into the insert iamge dialogue box to get the full image on this page, like this '

I don't know if it still allows it, but in the past I used to be able to host pictures from a Google drive, and it worked good. I wonder if it would still work? Would using OneDrive work? Maybe I will have to revisit that, since the forums are not the same as the last time I did that, a few years ago.
