Portal Blues

I'm having a little problem with portals on a route I'm building. I have a portal set to produce trains, and it does. But the drivers won't show up in the drivers list and while they do follow the path I intended them to, they do not stop at stations and execute the load function they have on their "order sheet". Has anyone encountered this problem before? And if your answer is yes... What was the solution, if any, you came up with to get this sorted out?

I found what was wrong. I was trying to produce long trains using the shortest portal available and it couldn't handle it. Everything worked as planned when I replaced the short portal with a longer one.

Portal Basic is no longer functioning in my SnC Carlisle Skipton layouts. Every schedule is now showing a white cross on a red background where a portal is named in the schedule. When I find the portal in surveyor, it displays the "Portal Entry", but selecting the portal by the "?", there are no parameters in the HTML to alter, merely the name slot and route or session box.
There are no errors in the asset on the CMP, and as far as I can tell Portal Start and Portal End are included.

What has occured and has anyone had the same experience? As far as the KUID is concerned, is shows as owned by Auran, but the KUID number is 30501:22006 which is not normally an Auran code. Is the database rebuild Daemon to blame for this? What is the correct KUID number if it has been changed? I also see that a number of other assets have the same prefix and Auran Owned?

Auran had to by the rights to anything they would distribute as built in assets. So you will find KUIDs that are not normally Aurans. As far as the portal problem, make sure you are on the route layer, and it is unlocked, when you try to look at the properties.

I did all that, but I did follow another thread, and added .gs to the portaltunnel script file name in the config.txt file, and that worked. No further problems.

I had this problem once and fixed it by doing a quick database repair in content manager.

New Updated Portal Basic for TS2009

Windwalkr (Chris Bergmann) has a new updated Portal Basic made for TC but works in TS2009. It's on the DLS as Portal Basic TC,<kuid2:121794:22006:4>
