It is a rather unique engine, not only with that, but also with the rooster comb on the stack, covered wagon style smokebox, as well as having its name on the side of the boiler instead of on the cab. It has features quite distinguishable from other engines of its kind.

I can't wait for the updated version. I didn't bother with the first one. I waited fir this one.

Soon! Very soon!

I'm waiting on pictures of the gauges from the engine in the museum so that I can texture them correctly. I'm also working on the sounds.

After that, she will be released.

I'm working on it. I've downloaded several whistles that I like from various places on the net. Problems are that some have extra noise mixed in, and I can't isolate the whistle.

Other issues are making the looping wav files. Can't have it skipping and popping within the loop.

One other issue is the sound config.txt file itself. I'm trying to make a start, loop, stop whistle, AND include the bell too. Haven't found a way to do that yet. Can make a start, and loop with a bell, but no specific wav file for the end of the whistle.

Well, don't make it a priority. I would like to have a custom whistle, but not if it is to much work

I'm making it a priority lately because I want to finish this project! :udrool:

Other than a few other things I'm looking into right now, the sounds are the last step to go. Some of the sounds are unique and generated by myself.

Do you have any suggestions for the whistle? I'm in the "market" for a good whistle sound! If you have something or something in mind, point me to it! :D

Me too! I actually live near it! Well, not exactly. Kennesaw is a suburb northwest of Atlanta, and I am on the northeast side, so it's like an hour or so, depending on traffic, and path. Still, I am close to it:cool:
