Phil C's ES44ac

I'm thinking about downloading Phil C's KCS ES44AC loco. Can you guys give me a little advice before I download the loco?

I assume you mean that you are planning to purchase the loco, as it is a payware item.

As for advice, I would highly recommend any of the items that Phil has for sale. They come with an abundance of features, and each one has a custom cab.

Also, if you do purchase the engine, the Gatekeeper security system should be installed first. I think there can be problems arise with the installation if it's done in any other order. You can read more about this stuff at the World of Trainz site, especially the forums.

Patrick is right about these, the Gatekeeper needs to be installed first.

I also have a few of Phil's loco's and the detail is very good. Well worth it if your looking at these.

I have some of Phil C's locos, and they are very good. There has been an issue with one of the locos (can't remember which one at the moment) that prevents the throttle and reverser lever showing in the cab, but Phil is rewriting the locos currently.

I have these, too...

8) Yes, for the ES!

These, as all WofT GE units, feature enginesound by trw1089, and the sound really makes the locomotive!

I like when you throttle down, how much like the real GE sound it makes.

The control layout, includes many features like a working accelerometer, that helps to decide if you need braking or throttle, or with DC models, a working ammeter.

I figured the missing levers, shall be corrected presently.

I like to open the side window, throw the rear view mirror forward to the side, for extra vision, close the window, and let's roll!

I have a fair amount of locomotives from Phil C, I belive I have 4-5 different ES44DC/AC's, aswell as 2 SD75I's, and a C44-9W. They are very good locomotives, and well worth the money. It will be great once he comes out with the smaller locomotives, like GP40's.
