This is an idea, I have had for a few weeks. A screenshot collection for the following railroads: The Pennsylvania Railroad, Penn Central, Erie Lackawanna, Chessie System, Amtrak and Conrail.

Big Images! Warning!

My Chessie SD50s (payware from jointedrail.com) get a work out on Riverside Railroad Co 2a...

It doesn't matter. There already is a USA pics thread. It doesn't matter if it 's a picture of Maine 2ft guage, or High speed inter modal in California, Its a USA Pictures thread.
This thread, is so pointless, that it carries an essence of fail. Just like it's creator.
By the way, Pennsylvania Railroad was the worst railroad on the northeast. Because, it practically collapsed the rest of the north east roads, including Lehigh Valley, Reading, and Central of New Jersey, among many more. It failed even harder when it forced NYC to merge and form the Penn Central. Yeah yeah, it claims to be the standard railroad of the world. It should read Standard failure of the world. Now, do yourself a favor and crawl back in line with the rest of them. :/

Well, then this thread is severely lacking.

Just to name a few. I mean, of course the cancer that killed Northeastern railroading (PRR/PC) is included, but everyone forgets about the railroads that made the region what it was.

UPDATE: THANK YOU JADEBULLET. Now this week, we will add the railroads Jadebullet mentioned plus the original mentioned carriers.

And lets not forget the New Haven, Central Vermont, or the Delaware and Hudson. But what about the predecessors such as the Providence & Worcester, New England Central, Guilford, or the Vermont. Oh and then theres the Susquehanna, New York and Atlantic, Morristown and Erie, and the Reading and Northern.

IF you want a thread for northeast railroads then I would think it would be best to title it Northeast US railroads since there are hundreds of fallen flags and modern shortlines operating in the northeast today.
