Pantographs in trainz?

i was just wondering, in all the trainz games, you get trains with pantographs. In the game do they actually do anything or are they just there to make it look good? For example the tgv etc.

They're there because the real TGV has 'em too. As for functionality, you can put them up/down, that's it. The train will actually drive with pantographs lowered. Not really prototypical, but that's the way it is until someone decides to change it.

There is a rule out there that will stop all electric trainz when the power station runs out of coal etc, can't for the life of the remember the kuid, there was a thread about it not too long ago try searching in the forums for electric loco rule.

Hi , I think you set that in the 'Power Station rule' It will stop other industries from working if they rely on electricity but I don't think it will stop most electric trainz.
