Paint Shed issue

I can't get into the paint shed program because it keeps telling me I have to enter my user id in the Misc. Settings thing. When I go in try to do this I click in the field where you enter your User ID and I get a flashing curser BUT I can't enter squat into the field. I just keep getting that little "bonk" sound from the computer and nothing happens. I'd sure like to paint up my trains. I'm all registered and all that so I don't have a clue why it wont let me paint.

Each version of trainz is accessed differently .

TRS2006 you click on the template in CMP--

Which version are you running ?

How can I use paintshed with TS2009? Its like they don't know the other exists.

Where do I find the version listed.

Well...on the box, DVD, Manual, Start menu, and every other menu should say that.

I found it. It's version 2.6 build 3337
