Seasons Greetings from the Great County of Padstershire!
Here is the first in a series of scenes from around the county.
This week, Great Piddle village.
Great Piddle station paddock.
The Padster Arms, Great Piddle's best known watering hole.
Railway bridge and Castle ruins.
A close up of the castle. It was once home to the Namby-Pambie family, until Lord dePadster booted 'em out in the 14th century. Slighted by Ollie Cromwell in the English Civil War (he did like to wreck things didn't he?)
The village of Great Piddle. The villagers are known as 'Piddlers', and there is a Piddling Festival every year.
The former Station Master's house, seen from above the village.
Dungheap Row, the oldest houses in Great Piddle.
More pics next week.
Best wishes,
Padster
