Out Of Gas In 2010

Could this be the reason there are no cars on the roads in 2010? I don't think so because I do have gas stations on the layout. So where did they go and can they be recouvered? It's the Twilight Zone all over again. I did notice that when creating a new layout the geographical region says default region and you can't choose which region you want. Could this be something or not to effect no cars? I've tried several roads with same result,no cars. Also...I've DL some 09' box cars and they show up in cmp but not when you want to place them on the track. How do you get them to show up? 2010 install went great as well as SP1. Did the extended data base thing as well. Any help welcome. Thanks...Alco_P-A

Are you using the TOGGLE TRAFFIC button in OBJECTS, SPLINES?

Although I have noticed that on very large routes the traffic just disappears.

You may also find any trains you have downloaded by using the content search filter and clicking the rating to NOT YET RATED.

The search filter is the little button in the search bar at the top of the TRAINS menu.

Hope this helps. :)

Sigh, they should sticky this in the 09 and 10 section.

Your route is in the default region. Just change the region's kuid to what you want and it should work.

Moin,

Me wonders that you can´t choose any other region while create a new route.
That´s the reason for your problem - in the default region are no traffic on the streets!

If you can´t choose the region, create a layout with the default region, save, go into cm3, open the config and replace the region-kuid with your favorite region kuid (maybe you look in another config to found out the kuid).

I just did a simple test for changing the region to get cars. I made a simple route of a road loop with the default region..no cars show up. Exited Trainz and opened CMP to edit the route's config.txt file. Changed the region kuid from the default kuid:-1:78032 to United Kingdom kuid:-1:7803, saved and commited. Ran Trainz and tested the route, now has cars. Bottom line, if you don't like the region in your route, change it in the config.txt file of the route.

The route that I had was small so deleated it and started a new one. Region worked this time and I do have cars on the road now. Maybe a bug in 2010? Who knows. Thanks people for your help.

Or both could have bugs. They are stile working on, service pack 3 for TS2009WBE.

Nope they are not. SP3 was included with the three add-on packs. It is rumoured there is still work done on SP4 for TS2009. If that will ever be released remains to be seen.

Attention, to see other regions, you have to tick the options in "surveyor setting" button "only display favorite content" by default on 2010

Moin,

Seems that it is different on each system? Just i´ve created a new route to test it out and it works without any problems here in TS 2010, has choose region "Germany" and different roads with traffic, all OK:

j maybury, in mine if I lay one spline hardly a car shows, but if I connect 2-3 while placing, the odds go up.
Don't forget the carrate tag and what it is set to.

Hi StorkNest,
I've laid down a full circuit right round the board and then some, but no carz, I would have thought it was a bug, but yet it works for others so it's not a bug, at this stage it has got me strumpet, but I’m working on it.;)
