OK... Now what?

Old computer died... Built new one, state of the art (mostly)... Trainz 10 arrived and was quickly installed... First message I see is "your whatever is out of date... go here for updates" Here I am... I have build 42203...
What the heck do I need to download to fix this?
Once we get this resolved, we will discuss steam locomotives.

Thanks for your response. I assume that I need only the one that refers to my build number. Next question: when 12 arrives, do I uninstall 10 or can they co-reside on my computer in harmony??
Where should the downloaded file reside? Anyplace in the computer or must it be in a specific folder under Trainz?

12 can be installed along side 2010, you do not need to remove it. The patch should be downloaded to your PC, then exceuted. You do not have to keep the patch file, but you may if you wish.
