Oddest locomotive Ever...

I can't find the real pic of it, but this loco (in Voodoo RR colors) that I've drawn, actually existed at one point. The story as I remember it, was that a Mexican railroad had two locomotives. One GP9, one F7 which were involved in an accident. The rear of the F unit was demolished, and the cab of the GP. Someone on their shops thought "hey why not combine the two" and created this locomotive.

Don't know about you, but I'd love to see one in Trainz wouldn't you?

what about the GG1 electric that had an accident.. the bad half was cut off and the other half was made into an electric switcher iirc

What is that? It looks vaguely like a Class 37...but with much larger noses.

I've got a 37 model, sound and all (Hornby) but have yet to build a route for it. Took me FOREVER to get sent here to the US, but eh. What can I say. I love foreign power.

It appears to be a class 37 (in old BR colours), with shunter bogeys (trucks to Americans), and possibly power, judging by the four engines comment.

Very technical!
Still, there will always be experimental engines, and if someone builds a test of any of these, then I will give them a go!

I've got a set of drawings for the Fell loco if anyone is serious about making it.

PS Surely the Bullied "Leader" must be a good candidate for the oddest loco ever?

leeder.

You know, the Leader could have worked. There were some design flaws, but by the time it came out the BR was pretty much set in its idea to get rid of steam.

Sadly, not one was saved... :'(

The idea for a transfer loco was to have a lot of low speed pulling power on a single frame that didn't need to be turned, hence the center cab.
