Odd Trainz Behaviour

I`ve been having problems with the game recently that really left me speechless.

I reinstalled Trainz about 8 times now, but I have the same annoying problem: Trainz starts (eventually), but CMP won`t.. I tried deleting assets.tdx/bku, but still doesn`t work.

I really don`t have any ideea what else to try.

I have Trainz 2006; no SP, no nothing, just pure TRS2006.

you need sp1 .. original trs 06 installation is faulty, service pack 1 will help you with your problems

The problem with service pack is that it deletes (?) some of the built-in contents, or changes kuids, or I don`t know, because when I installed my route on an SP1 trainz it had ~50 missing kuids, that were built-in in an non-sp 1 Trainz..

I have installed SP1; now everytihing works relatively fine, except when I try to import some of my old content, it says:

Runtime Error!

Program: "trainz_path"

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
