Object Search Filters - TS2009 WBE

I remember in the past, TRS2006 and before, that in the Object Placement there was a drop down filter to sort by Industry, Scenery, Rail, Bridge, etc...

Now in the new TS2009 WBE there is no such option. It appears that I now have to scroll thru the entire list of Objects until I find what I want.

I have used the Search Tool and Filters to find the Buildings I want to place, but I want to find all Interactive Industry Buildings...

The Search Tool and Filter only shows what Objects start with the Object Name, and not based on the TYPE OF OBJECT...

So you might have several UMB900 thru UMB999 Objects and you don't know if some are tree objects, vehicle objects, people, buildings, or interactive industry....

MY QUESTION OR REQUEST:
Is there an easier method for only showing all the interactive industries?
Is there a method for turning off all of a specific Type of Object in the list of Place Object lists, like trees or people until needed and then turned on?

Thanks,
David

The simplest way is to type 'industry' into the top box in the Search dropdown, your scenery menu will then be populated with all the industries.

Dig a little deeper. Click on the box that shows Name and there is a dropdown that gives you a wider range of search terms. Alternatively, use CM2 to sort for 'industries', drag them into the Picklist, then in Surveyor, open the search drop-down, click on Picklist and you have the same list available to you.

Note that you can drag items from any menu into the Picklist box and from there is is just a one-click placement

This new system is far more powerfull than the old one.
