Nvidia AGP Graphic cards. Help

Hey all,

At the moment I have a Ge-force 7600 graphics card and I have 4GB of Ram. On a blank route in TRS2006 and TRS2004 I get 64 FPS. Now the highest for an APG x8 mother board can only handle a 7900. Would getting a Ge-force 7900 make much difference? How many more FPS can I get with it?

Is a 7900 any good, does any one else have it?

I have also heard there making th 8 series for APG mother boards but there not out yet...Is it worth waiting for them?

Are ATI grphic cards any good? What is best one I can buy and is it better then 7900 card?

According to Tomshardware.com t 3850 is the mont powerful Video card available. I've dropped one into a P4 2.4 with 3 gigs of RAM and I get the same frames per sec as the older 850 PE XT. Toms notes that the cpu may limit performance.

Note some layouts are limited by cpu some by graphics card.

On the 3850 the 512 mb of memory is nice in built up areas and I can run 16aa 8 af which reduces jaggies even compared to the old 850.
