Hi to the Creator of the above route. I cant find your email address in the config file so need to use this forum to contact you. From what I have seen of your route so far it looks very good however with the ground cover you have used [thistles is it, or what ever] its like looking at it through the screening mesh on the window of a microwave oven. The route looks good and plenty of good detail and I would like to retain it but would like to replace that effect with something else as it destroys the clarity of the route. Would you mind telling me the kuid number of the asset/effect I'm talking about please so that I can experiment replacing it with ones that I'm more comfortable with? Thanks

You can find the KUID of any asset by enabling the Show KUIDs in the Options in Surveyor.

With this option enabled, you can then click the asset while in the appropriate tab, and the KUID of the asset will show at the bottom of the screen. Once you obtain that information, you can then easily use the replace assets tool and replace the asset with something you wish.

Thanks John. I have show kuids ticked in Options but the grass will not come up with the kuid number. It seems to be as if its in a layer as when I open the layer tab and click on the 'eye' beside the
unlocked icon, all the track, grass and fence etc all disappear and only the ground shows. However when its all together and visible I can not get the track, fence of grass to bring up the kuid number
I scrolled thru the grasses in the scenery tab listed the RH side of the window hoping I could identify it from there putting some on the route and removing them again but that was no good either. My method was to Highlight the route> clicked on edit route> opened the scenery
tab> click on the 'Get' tool then click on the grass, but no kuid number comes up. I can get a kuid for a tree but not for the grass or the track etc. Anything wrong with my method? and how do I get round the problem of the layers if that's the issue Your advice appreciated. Cheers
