NSW signaling help

Hello all, just a quick query from me.

I posted a couple of weeks back on setting up Natvanders NSW signals, however i fear my question wasn't very clear. What i am after is a tutorial/guide on setting up these signals, such as is included with TRS2004, that included basic diagrams that show how each signal type is used to set up a basic passing loop.

I am after this information so that i am able to signal a station layout based on Bomaderry/Nowra on the NSW South Coast.

Any assistance rendered will be much appreciated. Peace out, Mattm.

Ok, its been a few days , and so far no replies. How about we ignore the last part of the query and just focus on the fist part?

What i am after is a few simple diagrams that show how the signals would be set up to signal a few basic track configurations.

Sorry if i seem impatient i just don't get signals or signaling.

There are some video tutorials on RBR TV which include signalling and that would be for Australia but I'm not certain about the NSW details. You might need to register with us before being able to download them but that's simple and free of charge with no commitment.

Chuck Brite's Midwest Central web site has some excellent tutorials including signalling but they are for the USA. Might be useful to you for the general principles though.

Wow, that was quick. Thanks, i'll have to look at the tutorials on razorback. Any tutorials would be helpful, i suppose. Other than that, i can probably only experiment with signal placement on a test route.

Unfortunately, signalling for prototypical operations is one thing, signalling for safe and happy AI operation, is quite another. Do you have a signalling diagram for the area in question, for where you want to model - so we can have a clearer image of what it is you're trying to achieve, hence, we might be able to help you better

Muliebuck, yes i do have access to a trackplan for the area i am modeling. It can be found at http://www.artc.com.au/Content.aspx?p=47, under Illawarra Track diagrams. This downloads as a PDF document. The areas i am interested in are Bomaderry, Wollongong and Unanderra.
