That's what I figured - I couldn't see NS getting all the gear in place, and out of revenue service, and then taking what would have been a fair amount of time teaching/learning the choreography of the movements. And then the retakes for not stopping in the right spot, etc.

EDIT: The yard scene at the beginning and the turntable scene were both shot at Inman Yard in Atlanta, according to NS's Channel.

they had quite a lineup in atlanta filming this. some is cgi but they did have real trains moving for this.

Yeah majority of this was filmed in Inman Yard in Atlanta, if subscribe to Norfolk Southern's facebook page there were a few pictures of the film shoot.
