not showing up locos

I downloaded a bunch of locos from CincySouthernRwy on the DLS and only the tenders pop up and the locos don't show up when I click the logos

I'm having the SAME problem with the newly released Nickel Plate High Speed Freight set. I can see the caboose and the tenders, but the locos and the boxcar are NOT showing up. I put in a ticket on Saturday last, but have not heard back from N3V yet. I can see the shadow mesh when I place the locomotives but no loco. I cannot see the rotating thumbnail of the locomotive when I am in Surveyor and using the place asset pull out tab (used to place rolling stock). The locos and boxcar do not show up in the RailYard either. I have done both a Quick Database and Extended Database Repair, defragged my drive, made sure I have the latest ATI video driver...etc, etc. No joy.

Have you guys tried switching from Open/GL to DirectX or vice a versa?

This has fixed this problem for me in the past.

I have. It did nothing. I even went in and changed each parameter (antialiasing, Vertex offset, yada yada...one by one. Then went and did the same from my video card console. Nothing. And I haven't heard a word from N3V on my service ticket yet either. I'm almost out of love with this program.

I have the same problem , i downloaded something from a third party .
It's in CMP but doesn't show up in surveyor .

how can I do that?

Open the CMP "view config file" see if the trainz-build line is beyond you trainz version trainzbuild ... if higher ... it must be backdated.

Click "view dependencies" "view in main list" ... check each of the dependencies to see if the trainz-build line is beyond you trainz version trainzbuild ... if higher ... it must be backdated.

Check if any dependencies are missing, or have errors.

I also have had this problem, with russian locos which were from dls if faulty why are they there, i have some show up but dont move, usually i delete them, also updates in cm dont work say server interupted. like i say they may be nice to lok at but no good if they dont work.

sometimes this error is also due to the asset not having all kuid fields filled it. look to see what errors its giving you.

I just downloaded it fresh off the DLS in CM3.3 (ts2010), and it only shows one "warning" (yellow exclamation)...no Shadow Mesh
-Not Faulty (no red exclamation)
-Not missing Dependencies

The tenders only show up on the game, nothing else

Do you mean they are not in your "pick from menu", or do you mean you place them on a route, then they disappear?

they won't show up on my "rail yard" or when I put them on a route

When you view dependencies, make sure there are none showing with the icon on the left a slightly different shade of yellow. The problem could be in a dependency of a dependecy of a dependency.
