Northern Pacific Prototype

I have a 'beef' with models of trains (not limited to Trainz) which is reskining. My problem is when one prototype is reskined into another livery without prototypical features being added on. This is why I made my own prototype, the E.C.N.R.R., which is a hand-me-down based railroad prototype with locomotives obtained from everywhere and rolling stock obtained from everywhere. But getting back to the trainz models, Northern Pacific locomotives are a good example. They have a specific destingtion form other roads: the above center headlamp. I understand everything cannot be perfect with models, but NP models should have this feature. Infact all prototypes should have their features. But I'm concentrating on Northern Pacific because it is one of my favorite prototypes. Does anyone make Northern Pacific prototype-accurate models for trainz? I know that there are models in MSTS.

Yea, the only engine I have found is bdaneal's 2-8-0 and it's prototypicaly incorrect.

Yes, I know its horrible. But its really the only option in Trainz. MSTS has a amazing NP F1. And its freeware.
And here it is.

Sometimes you have to make do with what is available. Building content is difficult, tedious, and frustrating. It takes a lot of time and effort. And when it comes to steam locomotives, each railroad had their own style, their own features. Because of the time involved in making a single locomotive, chances are you will never find an exact prototype of what you want unless its a rather famous engine.

I'm aware of that. It is unfortunate, and I'm sorry if 1. I'm being picky and 2. if I'm seeming like a gimme guy. I know that you have to make do with what's avaliable, so I'm thinking of how to convert MSTS models like the one above your post (which I need to find [yea I have MSTS]) and other models like it.

Well, the F1 was famous. It was the largest loco at the time it was built.

Fun Fact: The Nickname for the F1 class was "Hogs".

The MSTS model for those who want it is here. http://www.elvastower.com/

You can not go from the MSTS model to Trainz without the mesh(s) used to make it and even then it may be faster to make a new one.
