NorfolkSouthern37 Vader Signals

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, or if it's an error on my end, but the advanced signal settings of the Vader signals are not being saved either to the route or to the session. I've tried both scenarios and can't get the settings to stay upon reloading in Surveyor.

I've started a ticket with the help-desk, and got an initial reply, but haven't heard anything since. Just updated to Build 97556, in the hopes that it would be addressed, but still no luck.

I'm pretty sure I've tried all the combinations of saving to route, or session, in the properties' box of the Vader signals, but have not been able to find a way to save the settings. Really hope we can find a solution to this soon!

There is a fixed version undergoing final testing that will be uploaded to the DLS once it passes testing.

In fact, it was uploaded to the DLS last week:

Install this version:
<kuid2:481384:11111199:6> RRS RDG CL SuperSignal Signal Script Library

Something strange has happened now. When clicking on the properties of these signals, no parameters appear - just the headings. I downloaded the script library as suggested, and it worked fine, but now I can't program the signals at all.

Any ideas anyone?

Edit: Now the settings are not being saved again. I downloaded a bunch of VADER signals from the dls today - I wonder if they somehow over-wrote the old ones? Weird.

This library is not related to the signals in question at all. I am also curious about the situation and what might have to be done from here on out to get things working (if it is in fact something that has to be done from this end as the code has been around for a very long time with no issues).

I wish I could provide better information. All I know is that the signals worked fine in TANE, but then seemed to cease holding their parameters in TS19. I've downloaded everything new I can find regarding the VADER signals, and thought things were sorted out, but today I just noticed that any of the signals I had updated no longer held their parameters upon re-opening the session. I'm thinking it may have something to do with TS19, as the signals themselves have not changed to my limited knowledge.

Have you tried setting up the signals in your Driver's session rather than in the Route? I had that with T:ANE SP3 and have noticed the same with TRS19 with other things too such as ATLS crossings.

Yeah - I should have mentioned that. I've always set them up in the session. That would be one of my biggest wishes - if the settings would be saved to the route instead of the session. That would make things soooo much easier. Not sure if it's possible or not, but the industry settings can be saved to the route, so I wonder if this is possible also???

That definitely would be easier - set them up once when building the route so that merging and other tasks don't lose them later, or worse, a corrupted session gets deleted and...

It's probably possible for settings to be saved in the route, but that's up to the content creator to do that with their code. (I have absolutely no clue how to do that!)

We're definitely on the same page John! I'm not sure what's involved with that either, as I haven't the foggiest idea of what scripting is! lol Perhaps NorfolkSouthern37 would be able to let us know if it's even possible. (I'm sorry, I can't remember NS37's name)
