Hello Once Again Everyone,
As you may know, Backyard & I started a layout "adventure" sometime ago, however he ran into some problems last I heard and that layout may not be done for some time.
My Point?
Hold your horses I'm getting there!:hehe:
I decided that since I can now post screenshots, I will make a route based on the Norfolk Southern line that is nearest to me.
I have started in Harriman/Rockwood and I am pushing north right now.
I should have track laid up to the river bridge at Harriman by tonight.
Here is a sample shot;

Hello Conrail;
I will have to do my research on that, but I do believe this line interchanges with CSX Transportation at Chattanooga, about 60-75 miles south of the current location.

In other news,
I've messed it up already! I was going south when the tracks are supposed to be going north.
This may take a while to fix.

As I recall (I'd have to do some research), there was an interchange at Harriman with a shortline that ascended up to the Cumberland Plateau. It's been awhile since I've researched the area, so I could be mistaken.

Yes leeferr there is.
Franklin Industrial Minerals operates roughly 20-30 miles of former Tennessee Central trackage from Crab Orchard (near Crossville) then comes off the Cumberland Plateau and connects to Norfolk Southern at Harriman/Rockwood.

I'm sorry to do this, but I'm asking that the moderator delete this thread.
My reason is because of a stupid mistake.
I got the N/S direction wrong and now everything is all messed up.
I'm sorry for the inmature mistake.

I think he means the route itself has the wrong heading, unfortunatly theres nothing you can do about it. In my earlier days I made the same mistake myself a few times.

William:)
