Norfolk Southern: Coal Cars?

ClintClassic

Known for Nothin' but Gab
Everyone knows Norfolk Southern hauls coal exclusively, especially in states such as West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Yet I just don't understand why there isn't any NS coal cars available on the Download Station? I checked the usual suspects for this sort of thing (ie. "bnsf50" and gang); and placing "Norfolf Southern", "NS", "coal car", and simply "coal" into the search engine. All to no avail? I have come to the conclusion that NS uses coal cars through another corporation. Am I right? What it all boils down to is; I long for a long-winding black snake on my rails :cool: What better RR than a beautiful gang of black Norfolk Southern loco's to head them :udrool:

If you search "Norfolk Southern" instead of "Norfolf Southern" you may get more results. Also, searching "NS", remember that "coal Cars" are usually called Hoppers (not covered hoppers, just Hoppers) or they may be under "coal hopper" or "bethgon".

I just searched in Content Manager and found these results:

Search filters:
"Norfolk Southern"
"Category" = "Train Vehicle"
"Name" = "Hopper"

I wish they would name cars like the NRRA does. We had a big yellow book with all rail cars in it. (ex. box, gon, hopper, flat,etc. also all road names)

National Railroad Assn.

The book was used to determined a valid car mark (CSX, NS, etc.) and car number. It listed what the car charges for mileage, Per Diem, etc.

It's readerly apparent I made a typo, if you read my correct spelling: the third word in of my paragraph :\ Uh, yeah... "hopper". Thank you.
@ Jcalmx55; slabay; oknotsen; blackout16: Thanks to you guys; my dream has now become reality :clap:

{Ok now, let me check for any typo's :mop:I don't want the cyber RR police to catch me in any misspells :hehe: }
