Noob Question

Hello Everyone,

Tried to Google for this, but can't find an answer, and it may sound like a dumb question. Anyway here goes...

Platform: Surveyor TS 2010

When you drive a session in 'routes', the camera (after the player has chosen cab or DCC) is situated near the train you need to drive. I have played around with surveyor a bit, and edited the Razorback Railway 'basic scenario' where I have added a couple of locos and consists on a different area on the map (north in the harbour)

If you run the scenario though, without editing it, you are placed birds eye view over Patterson and a passenger train.

I would like to know how I can reposition the 'startup camera' at the beginning of the session so I can make it hover over one of my newly added trains in the harbour..

How do I get the startup camera to hover over my created train without having to manually 'fly there' with the map funtion.

Does this make sense ?

Thank you.

It's been awhile since I've played with sessions, but I believe that you have to go in an edit the session | edit drivers. If I'm not mistaken, the start-up position of the camera will be on the driver that's listed first in the driver list.

Thank you leeferr,

You pointed me in the right direction. I Did not know if it was a camera position or if the behavior was 'attached' to the driver.

The correct sequence is (in surveyor).

-add a loco somewhere and give it a distinctive name you can remember.

then: Main menu->Edit session->Driver Setup-> EDIT Choose the first driver and next to his picture click on the name of the locomotive, and change it to the that distinctive name you added.

Save it and play your session.

Thankz again
