No traffic?

When I go on Surveyor then Driver, I see no cars or trucks on the road.
Whats wrong? Im new to Trainz so i dont know what to do...
And the car button wont work for me.

If you chose the default region in surveyor then there wont be any road traffic.

Also some roads are set up not to produce any carz.

You can check the region by going to edit route and it should state the region choose something other then default.

You edit the "carrate" of the road through CM.
I believe the how long a car will spawn so a lower number will mean more cars.

or

Use a different road type.

Could you explain how to increase the amount of traffic on a road because i like making routes through cities and there are hardly any cars driving around in what should be a busy place.

You edit the config of the road. Change the carrate to something low. Like 3 which means a car will be produced every 3 secs. For that road.

I was also wondering why no cars were showing up in my route. When I originally made the session, the region button didn't seem to be working, so it was never set. I went back and clicked it a couple times now and after a few clicks the regions appeared, and so did the cars.
